Anna is a dedicated post-primary teacher of Irish and Physical Education, bringing over thirteen years of teaching experience to her work. A graduate of the University of Limerick (2013), Anna has built a professional career grounded in strong subject expertise, high standards, and a commitment to supporting students to achieve their full potential.
Anna is an experienced oral examiner for the State Examinations Commission (SEC), regularly assessing Irish oral examinations at Leaving Certificate level. She is also an experienced examiner for Physical Education, assessing both the Physical Activity Project and the written component of the Leaving Certificate PE course on behalf of the SEC.
In 2017, Anna completed a Master’s degree in Management in Education from South East Technological University (SETU) securing a 1.1. She currently holds an Assistant Principal I position in her school, contributing to leadership, curriculum development, and whole-school initiatives.
Alongside her teaching and leadership roles, Anna offers a range of student-focused academic supports. These include detailed feedback and mock oral examinations in Irish, project review services, and grinds at both Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate levels in Irish, as well as Leaving Certificate Physical Education.
